The chairman of the court, Beqman Beqiri, has stated that the reason for Berisha's failure to appear is his commitment in a case of serious murder at the Constitutional Court in Gjakova.
“In view of the 5.9.2025 presentation, the tribunal has announced that it cannot be submitted to this session because it is committed to a case of serious murder at the Parliamentary Court in Gjakova that was scheduled earlier. As evidence he delivered the letter to the court... With the same parachute, this lawyer has asked him to postpone the hearing of the 25.9.2025 date because he has planned a trip to this”, Beqiri has said.
In this case, Saban has declared he does not want to change the lawyer until the trial is complete.
