Stab attack on Essne College: Kosovo student shot by police

After the shocking events happening this morning at a professional school in the city of Essen, where a teacher was stabbed by a student, German authorities have provided new information on the incident.

According to newspaper sources BILDThe assailant, an 18-year-old native from Kosovo, has been shot by police a few miles from the scene after trying to attack even fast intervention forces (SEK). The young man is in serious health condition and has been assembled by emergency teams.

The seriously injured teacher in her stomach has been rushed to a university hospital where, according to the latest data, she is at risk for life. It was attacked within the school's facilities, in the area known as Bildungspark in Nordvittel of Essen.

After the attack, panic broke out inside the school. Several dozen students have closed themselves in their classrooms following alarm protocols for armed attack. Meanwhile, dozens more have been treated by medical teams for shock, as they witnessed the attack directly or helped provide first aid to the victim. /Periscopi/
