The prosecution has said the defendants are charged, that during the 1998 period of 1999 in Gjakova, acting in co-ordination with other members of Serbian police and military forces, they have violated the rules of international law, participating in killings, mistreatment, arrests, theft and destruction of the civilian population of Albanian nationalism.
According to the indictment, on March 25th and 26th 1999, on the “Tahir Efendiu” route, during a Serbian police force action, attended by defendants in the quality of police officials, a civilian has been killed and six civilians of Albanian nationalism have been mistreated.
There is a well-founded doubt that the defendants, in co-ordination, surrounded the damaged N.C., where the N.C., M.M., S. G., B.G., B.S., A.C., and Q. S., who were physically and psychologically abused, had been forced to load all the aid materials in the facility of the humanitarian association “Mother Teresa”, and then forced into a truck and sent to the Gjakova police station. While, at the police station, the injured have been divided into various cells, where they have remained for 24 hours without food, no water and no medical help, constantly being beaten and tortured by defendants and other Serb police members with rubber bars, kicks and fists”, the report said.
Intermediately, the M.M. arrested the day he was released from his cell on March 26, 1999, according to the Prosecutor, he was found killed near Talic's bridge in Gjakova.
