Kosovo Specialised Chambers Speaker ( DPSK, Judge Ekaterina Trendafilova, is said to have warmly congratulated Judge Gosnel and declared that “is pleased to welcome co-operation with him in TrsK”.
Judge Gosnel's appointment follows the resignation of Judge Kenneth Roberts' registry, also from Canada.
We remember that the decision to appoint Judge Christopher Gosnell comes at a time when processes against the accused in Kosovo's Specialised Chambers in The Hague are going to an end. The specialist expects the trial to be concluded against former KLA leaders in late December. /Periscopi/
