A cold front that arrived in Slovenia this week has secured the first snow this autumn.
The first snow this time fell at the highest meteorological station in Credarica in Slovenia, where a total of one centimeter of snow fell in the last 12 hours, according to the Republic of Slovenia's (Arso) Environment Agency on its website.
As meteorologists explained, because of the cold front crossing, it is possible to drop even more snow on Slovenia's highest peaks in the coming days, but this will not last for the moment, reports N1.
They also add that snow in high mountains in summer and early autumn is nothing unusual. For example, Credarica and Kanni became white early in July of this year.
