Smuggling goods in Ferizaj cover over 300kg of tobacco

Task Force within the framework of the Regional East Border Directorate, consisting of Kosovo Police and Kosovo Customs, after a few weeks of work and based on operational information, reports it has managed to identify two locations which served as collecting points of smuggled goods.

It becomes known that <x0 during the checks conducted in these locations, under the order of the State Prosecutor in Ferizaj, goods have been seized as follows: 100kg of crude tobacco and 109kg of processed tobacco have been found in the first location, while 100kg of crude 44x1> in the second location have been found.

In a report, it notes that the seized items have been delivered to Kosovo Customs for further legal procedures.

“According to the first estimates, based on market prices, the overall value of seized goods totals about 4,500 euros, while avoiding customs duties and excises are estimated to be around 15,000 euros”, the Kosovo Customs report is further said. /Periscopi
