New Slovenian ambassador's credentials accepted, Osman thanked Kosovo for backing

The country's president, Vjosa Osmani, has received credentials from Slovenia's new ambassador to Kosovo, Borut Blaj, whom she praised for her new post.

Osmani stressed willingness to work closely in strengthening further relations between the two states.

“President Osmani highlighted excellent bilateral relations between Kosovo and Slovenia, built on common values, mutual respect and mutual support”.

“in this context, President Osmani thanked Slovenia for its continued support, support on the Euro-Atlantic road, and membership in international organisations”, the presidency's announcement said.

In addition, it is known that Osman cited Slovenia's role as one of the initialists of the Brdo-Brijun Process.
