Slovenia bans Dodik's entry

Slovenia's government has banned the entry of Milorad Dodik. The reason has not been disclosed, but it's said to be about a “secret”. Dodik, in early August, was sentenced to a firm form ruling with a year's imprisonment and six years' ban on exercising public functions in Bosnia and Herzegovina due to disrespecting the international community's High Representative's decisions in Bosnia, Christian Schmidt.
Following the proclamation of a firm form act, Bosnia's Central Election Commission removed the mandate of Republika Srpska's entity president, following Periscope.
Since April, Dodik has been barred from entering Austria and Germany because of the Secetionist actions and minimation of the Dayton Peace Agreement.
Procedures to ban entry into the state have also been initiated by Poland and Estonia.
In mid-July, MEPs have also called for imposing sanctions on Dodik through the European Commission's report on Bosnia's progress, due to the divisive “retories and Secesionist policy”.
The European Union so far, due to Hungarian leader Viktor Orban's opposition, has failed to harmonise over sanctions against Dodik.
Dodik, along with several other officials from Republika Srpska, has been found in the US <x0-list “due to the minimation of the Dayton Agreement and the violation of Bosnian integrity. The sanctions were imposed after the Republika Srpska Parliament passed laws that reject the decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and the High Representative.
Also, since April 2022 Dodik is on the list of United Kingdom sanctions.
Dodik, members of his family and several long-related companies are on the list of sanctions from the Office for Foreign Asset Control in the United States. Through these sanctions, financial transactions with Dodik and other sanctioning are banned. / REL/
