Prizren's chairman, Shaqir Totaj, officially opened the campaign for the second mandate, thanking citizens for the support given over the first four years and introducing his vision for a modern, developed and inclusive Prizren.
In his speech, Totaj highlighted investments carried out in these years by support for lehoa mothers, families, young people and pensioners, to the return of the cobblestone in Sedervan and many other city roads, the construction of schools, nests and health improvements. He assured citizens that in the next four years this investment would expand to 100 streets, alleys and ike squares of Prizren
Totaj also presented major projects for the period 20252029: construction of over a thousand new facilities, a 24-hour supply of drinking water, the restoration of the Prizren Fortress and the creation of the largest tourist information centre in Kosovo.
Referring to past governance, Totaj said it has changed a mentality of complaints and divisions left by Mytaher Haskuka and Vetevendosje, restoring confidence that the municipality can work and serve all citizens indiscriminately.
I'm head of everyone, no matter what, and this is how I'm going. Prizren won't go back and forward towards a modern future, with major transformation projects,” said Totaj in his speech. /Periscopi/
