Special Prosecutor Bekim Kodraliu has confirmed earlier for Radio Free Europe that Djukanovic is suspected of spying on another person who is also under investigation. Periscope.
According to the Kosovo Criminal Code, the spying is considered a serious crime and, in case of confirmation of the guilty, is sentenced to minimum five years in prison.
Several Kosovo media have reported that Djukanov allegedly co-operated with the Serbian Security and Intelligence Agency (BIA), but these claims have not been independently confirmed by Radio Free Europe.
Last month, another Kosovo Serb and her Croatian partner have been arrested in Croatia, under suspicion of spying.
According to reports, the Croatian, who served in NATO's Kosovo mission, KFOR has provided confidential information to its partner from Kosovo, which it has forwarded to members of the Serbian List, the largest party of Serbs in Kosovo.
Over the past few months, Kosovo authorities have arrested and charged several persons -- Serbs and Albanians -- under suspicion of spying on the service of Serbian intelligence.
