Krstic said this party does not represent any community, nor the interests of its voters.
He stressed that a political subject that serves no one in Kosovo has no place in the country's institutional life.
“A political subject that does not represent the interests of any community in Kosovo, nor the interests of its voters, must disappear from the Kosovo political scene. The Serbian list is a criminal organisation registered in Kosovo as a political party. They represent exclusively their own interests and the cabinet of the president of Serbia. The Serbian list is gangrene in Kosovo's political body, and according to the regulation it is very much necessary to remove”, Krstic said.
While analyst Ognjen Gogic has declared that the Serbian List is a political party registered in accordance with Kosovo's laws and that there is no legal basis for denying it participation in the country's political processes.
According to him, the future of the Serbian List in Kosovo institutions depends on the will of Serbian citizens.
Serbian “List is a political party registered under Kosovo laws and there is no legal basis for denying participation in political processes. Whether it has a future in Kosovo institutions depends primarily on the will of Kosovo Serbs”, he said.
“If Kosovo Serbs continue to support it through the elections, then it will have a guaranteed place in institutions,” said Gogic, stressing that Serbs have the constitutional right to choose their representatives.
He also said that the co-operation of Albanian political parties with the Serbian List is a matter of their political will.
The “Serbs have guaranteed seats in Kosovo institutions and have the right to choose who represents them. As long as they choose the Serbian List, it will have a place in institutions. Another issue is whether Albanian political parties are willing to co-operate with the Serbian List. That depends entirely on them. They can choose whether they want to form a coalition with the Serbian List at the central or local level. However, they are not entitled to choose who will represent Kosovo Serbs”, Gogic told Blic newspaper./Periscopi/
