He through a Facebook post said that today 1 September is the beginning of a troubled school year, where <x0 students, problems with textbooks and heavy teaching conditions, teachers with salaries under their dignity, and parents with the great dilemma what they benefit their children from this educational system”.
Haradinaj has criticised the government for all this situation.
His full post:
In various stages of our history, educators carry the huge national burden; the establishment of generations; and the challenge of Kosovo's liberation. They challenged Milosevic's notorious regime with no compensation, and today in a normal situation, September 1 should be a holiday for students, teachers and parents, and today it is nothing more than an ordinary day that marks just the beginning of a troubled school year. Students, problems with textbooks and heavy learning conditions, teachers with salaries under their dignity, and parents with a big dilemma about what their children benefit from this educational system, even with the inability to provide books with tools dedicated to subsidies in many 80 euros.
The burden on this present situation is heavy on people who are in power now and how many years they left nothing behind but respectful treatment and dignified salaries for teachers, while education unions engaged in better wages and conditions declared them hostile. Aware that it is not easy for you, I wish you the best teachers, students, and parents to have the strength and courage to cope with a school year at no time.
