Ferizaj's Asamblist candidate from PDK ranks Selim Marevci has estimated that today the city is experiencing a new political reality, where Chairman Agim Aliu talks about the future and developmental vision, while the opposition is mired in comments and uncertainty.
Marevci has remembered in 2017, when Aliu ran for mayor as an opposition, stressing that he had not built the campaign on the then president's past, but on the offer and vision for the city.
“in 2017, Agim Aliu showed how the vision for the future becomes and how it is built. He did not deal with the then president's past because four years in opposition had been used to say enough. It was time to offer a new route to Ferizaj, and this brought great work. While today, after eight years, the current chairman talks about the future, but the opposition has no idea, no programmes, just comments and criticises”, Marevci has declared.
He has expressed his disappointment at the approach of opposition parties, saying that “instead of advancing public debate, they are turning Ferizaj back in the 2000s, without any idea, no expansion, only by dealing with the other. Disillusionable, trust me!

A political memory vs a current political reality:
In 2017, when Agim Aliu ran as the opposition for chairman, he never spoke of the then president's past. The reason was clear: during the four years in opposition, he had said enough and it was already time to offer vision for the future.
