Books have been distributed for young people who return to school for free. As in all of Albania, the distribution of books for children at any school took place in Elbasan.
Somewhere maintained and somewhat less, parents have rushed to take advantage of the relief offered, but while, according to budgets, they share opinions on the cost of other school materials.
Meanwhile, the new school year starts in Korca with a significant decline in the number of students. Compared to a year ago, there are 3726 fewer, lowering the figure from 21800 to 17 354 students.
This situation has led some schools to join the city of Korca, while the first dozens of classes have not been opened because they had no records. According to the deputy head of the teachers' union in Korca, the nearly one-fourth reduction of students is an alarming indicator requiring emergency intervention in the education system.
The decline in the number of students is reflected in teachers, who are left without schoolloads. Part of them are expected to pass as assistant teachers or engage in post-school programs, writes Top Channel, broadcast Periscope.
