France's President Emmanuel Macro
The breach of Polish airspace by Russian drones during an attack carried out by Russia against Ukraine is simply unacceptable. I condemn this in the most powerful terms. I call on Russia to end this careless escalation”, Macro said.
“UI remember the Polish people and their government our complete solidarity. Soon I will speak with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. We will not compromise the security of allies”, he added.
United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer
This morning's barbarous resolution against Ukraine and the extraordinary and unprecedented violation of the Polish and NATO airspace by Russian fears is very disturbing”, Starmer said.
He added that “was an extremely careless act of Russia, and only reminds us of the lack of respect President Putin has for peace, and brings to mind the daily bombings of the innocent Ukrainian citizens”.
US Air Force General Alexandrus Grinkewich, NATO Supreme Commander in Europe
“The Supreme Chairmanship of the Alliance of Powers of Europe and Allied Command of Operations are in close contact and co-ordination with Poland and other allies regarding fears that entered Poland's” airspace, he said.
NATO reacted quickly and firmly to the situation, demonstrating our ability and determination to defend the territory of allies, Grinkewich stressed. / REL/
