These statements come a day after US President Donald Trump said Allies should crash Russian aircraft if they violate their airspace.
NATO states have said some fighter aircraft and Russian fears have violated European states' airspace over recent weeks, accusing Moscow of testing the borders of the Western military alliance.
“We are hearing an exaggerated hysteria regarding our military pilots who are supposedly breaking certain rules and violating the airspace of any state”, said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, adding that these claims were the baseless “ ”.
On September 23rd, Trump said NATO states should bring down Russian aircraft if they violate their airspace.
NATO aircraft have detected three Russian fighter aircraft MiG-31 last week, after they entered Estonian airspace over Finland's Gulf.
On September 22nd, Denmark was forced to close an airport in Copenhagen after saying unidentified fears forced dozens of flights to cancel or change the route, affecting thousands of passengers.
Our military <x0) aviation respects all flight rules, is guided by them, and adheres strictly to”, Peskov said during a news conference for journalists.
NATO said a day earlier that “is still early to say” if fears flying over Denmark relate to the alliance's recent air space violations from Russia.
Incidents follow fears in Romania and Poland. In Poland, several pilotless butterflies were knocked down by NATO aircraft. / REL/
