On the second day, he engaged in his postcast, led by his ex-wife, renowned journalist Christiane Ammanpour, in which they discuss current global crises and international challenges.
Amanpour before starting a conversation, he asked Ruby where he was while he was talking.
Rubin told her he was giving evidence in the trial of former President Hashim Thaci, but told her she could speak more than that.
I'm in an anonymous room in a large building in The Hague, home of trials for crimes and international tributaries. I'm actually testifying in a trial. I am the main defence witness for former Kosovo president Hashim Thaci. The judge told me just a few minutes ago because I'm at lunch break and they can come and tell me things while we're making a move to not discuss my testimony. So, I can't do it now, and when I'm done, of course, I can discuss my testimony, but I can just declare that I'm here and I'm doing my best to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth”, Ruby said.
Ruby finished witnessing today as the session continued with testimony from the second defense witness.
