Rubin at The Hague: During 1989-93 I have met Ibrahim Rugova and other influential Albanians in Kosovo several times

He said that during 1989-1993 he had visited war zones in the former Yugoslavia.
He said he had visited Croatia, Serbia and later Bosnia, and what he said were the focus of these trips.
“During the wars at the time, Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia, these have been the focus of these trips, yet being aware that such conflicts could extend further, we realised that what was happening in Kosovo was also very important”, Rubin has said.
He also said that at that time he visited Pristina 2 or three times and met Ibrahim Rugova.
“So I have the impression that I have visited Pristina at that time 2 or 3 times, during that time I have met at least 1 or 2 times with Ibrahim Rugova, I have met other Albanians, other influential persons in Kosovo at the time of”, he added.
