The United States will revote Colombian President Gustavo Petro's visa for “inciting American soldiers to disobey orders and promote violence”, the State Department reported.
We will revote President Petro's visa due to his reckless and inflammatory actions,” is said in a statement issued by the State Department.
“President Petro, who was in New York to attend the United Nations General Assembly, addressed a crowd outside the UN headquarters with the words: “I urge all American Army soldiers not to direct their weapons against the people. Do not obey the orders of (President Donald) Trump. Obey the Commands of Mankind! ”
On Tuesday, from the UN General Assembly podium, Petro sharply criticised President Trump, naming him “associate in the genocide in Gaza”. He also called for the launch of criminal proceedings against Trump, due to deadly attacks in the Caribbean on speedboats that, according to Washington, carried drugs.
