The Agency for Information and Privateity has commissioned the Pristina municipality to provide access to public documents, exactly signed contracts, 12m euros worth, between the Pristina municipality and the architect of the capital, the PDK's Asigist, Leutrim Retkoceri.
This AIP decision comes after the conclusion that Pristina's Konuna violated the Law for Access to Public Documents by not offering access to documents related to the city's payments and architect projects.
In the decision of September 24, 2025, AIP imposes the Pristina Community within seven days of accepting the decision to offer the complaining side access to these documents:
* The official documentation that testifies whether the municipality is currently in final procedure for the Capital's Architectural Service.
* The data on the total amount of financial means the municipality has paid to the architect of the city so far, according to years and contracts.
* List of projects drafted by the City's architect for the Pristina Town.
* List of projects designed by the architect, which are officially accepted by the Communists and implemented.
According to AIP's reasoning, required documents are linked to spending public money and, by law, citizens have the right to have access to them. The institution notes that the municipality has offered no official response to the citizen's initial request, forcing the Agency to intervene under mandatory decisions.
This decision comes into force on the day of admission from the Pristina Community, which is obliged to report the Agency for the steps taken in writing. /Periscopi/
