Reagon former deputy minister after Basha was convicted of slander: Six years he broke my spirits.

The former deputy minister of finance from the ranks of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Mustafe Grainca, has spoken after the decision of the Foundation Court in Ferizaj, which has condemned Kosovo Assembly Speaker Dimal Basha, of slander and insults against him. According to the court ruling, Dimal Basha must publicly apologise to Grainca and pay the amount of 25 thousand The euro as compensation for moral damage caused.
“Dimal Basha has been convicted of slander against former Deputy Finance Minister Mustafe Grainca, member of the Democratic Party of Kosovo”, says in the decision, Periscope.
Grainca, who has been following this judicial process for six years, expressed his satisfaction with the decision, stressing that more than financial compensation, justice and public responsibility matter to him.
I've been informed by the lawyer. We've been taking the decision for an hour. I've been waiting six years for this decision. The first verdict was scandalous by a judge and we then complained about that verdict and the Court of Appeals turned it into retrial. At that time he was declared innocent. He will be punished for slander and injury. Six years I've been broken emotionally and emotionally”, Grainca declared on FrontOnline.
He stressed that the clash between them began at the time he held the post of deputy minister, while Dimal Basha had just entered politics from civil society.
I was Deputy Finance Minister. So when this guy started fighting me, he's been on the LVV's candidate list for a month. From civil society on July 1, 2019, it slanders and leaves nothing without me in Inseder, on July 1, 2019, this one belongs to LVV and goes to their office and at the end of August 2019 it enters the LV's candidate list for the Kosovo Assembly”, he said.
Grainca accuses Basha of having political motive behind public attacks on him, stressing a statement stated by Basha himself.
In a video recording, the people themselves make their judgment that Grainca is a thief, that he's a ruiner of the city, that people let him go, and he obeyed me and made me deputy,” recalled Grainca.
He expressed satisfaction that justice was finally put in place and expects to have apology from Basha.
I don't care about the financial issue. No one can deal with this subject anymore. What I've been looking for by the lawyer was to make a fair decision and that the slanderer and insult should be punished. I'm glad he's been condemned as a slanderer and an insult. The court forced him to apologize. How someone could be the head of the Assembly and not apologize on the basis of observing the Court's decision would be unprecedented. He's right to file a complaint against the” decision, Grainca said.
