Two rare operations are successfully performed at the Gynecology Clinic in KKUK

This success is the result of professional co-operation between the clinic staff and Dr. Alban Nezir, a gynecologist who lives and works in Switzerland, who with his experience and expertise made an extraordinary contribution to the realisation of these interventions for the first time in our country.

Also, valuable contributions have been made by the gynecologists' team from clinics, as well as anesthesiologists and staff from the Anesthesiology Clinic.

Operations have been performed on two patients with congenital body abnormalities, where parts of them have not been fully developed during the embryoal development.

This is a major step toward improving the quality of the life of these patients, and it opens up the possibility of developing cervical transplants in future European specialised centers.
