The only requirement of this protest is its release from custody in Serbia, where it is currently being held four months. In announcing the Spahiu family, this protest reportedly aims to call on local and international institutions to raise their voices against injustice.
Former Kosovo Police Special Unit member Arbnor Spahiu was detained on June 7th at the border checkpoint from Hungary to Serbia. Justice authorities in Serbia accuse him of allegedly committing criminal work “severe murder”.
According to them, Spahiu allegedly carried out this work in Zvecan Banjska, so on September 23rd 2023, at the time when a group of Serb terrorists armed at the helm with criminal Milan Radojcina attacked the Kosovo Police and killed Sergeant Africa Bunnjak.
