Lulzim Rafuna, chairman of the Kosovo Economic Ode, said businesses in Kosovo are facing challenges as never before.
“Business is facing a challenge like once since the post-wars, because we've gone through different stages of transition. Business demands have also been different, but this time business is going to very, very big challenges”, he said, reports “Justice Trust“.
According to him, the challenges begin after the country's executive or institutions have taken no action for reform, saying it is the seventh year that there is no reform in fiscal policies. In addition, the challenge said it is the education system, as there is no reform linking the education system with market reforms.
The rule of the law, we do not yet have reforms that allow the classes to be resolved in a short term as the law requires first, and as required for the good of business”, he added.
On the other hand, Rafuna also spoke of the recent challenge, which he said is the electrical energy, as well as the behaviour of foreign investors, due to the reckless declarations of the leaders of institutions.
We are under attack, fighting, European Union sanctions, breaking up reports with strategic partners, and all of this has not only scared the foreign investor, but also our investors to extend investment, not in Kosovo, but in the countries of the region. Business is facing challenges, I'm saying once again that they've been in the last 25 years”, Rafuna said.
