Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has reacted sharply to the media, which according to her is being persecuted and jeopardised the security of her minor girls by publishing the whereabouts and recordings without authorisation.
“In what democratic country does the exposure and risk of children's lives fall within the institutions of freedom of expression? In none,” claims Osman.
The president warns legal measures against journalists who report where the state chief's daughters are educated.
I will take any legal measures to protect my children from these so-called journalists, who have no intention of informing the public but risk the lives of children who have no guilt,” says Osmani.

CONDITIONAL - DONATION SUFFECTS, OBJECIAL, RISK FOR MEDIA CACUSE ARA BUCH WIZAV E STATE STATES
For five years, my daughters have gone to public school “Ismail Kemali” in Pristina. I am eternally grateful to their primary school teacher, who, as well as any other student, has made sure that our girls learn fully and take the first and sure steps towards their professional development. Thankful to the rest of the school staff and the school leadership for their cooperation with their parents.
Over the past five years, as well as other students in this school, my daughters have faced problems with sewers, water shortages, heating currents, total toilet blockades, a lack of cleaning for months, a lack of security at school (with about 4 thousand students at school, about 40 students in one classroom), seizures of dangerous means by some students, and no other.
But never, some so-called journalists (for any one of them would be shocked about what illegal activities they do, according to our security institutions), have never written that the country's president sends children to public school in Kosovo, despite the major challenges facing this school. They have never written about many other politicians, especially for numerous journalists who send children to private schools, both inside and abroad.
The only thing some of these so-called journalists did was risk the safety of my girls who went to public school every day, publishing their whereabouts, their classrooms, unauthorized recording of their faces, without any prior permission, despite their minor age, and the fact that, as the law predicted, and as has been the case with other presidents' families, police are present. Likewise, unauthorized recordings of minor children tried to do so today.
Of course, the police are present because this is required by law, and according to the police's own assessment, my daughters enter the category of high risk. These laws have not been drafted by me and this risk assessment has not been done by me. This practice exists throughout the world.
But what is clear is that an important part of this danger is caused by just some of these so - called journalists. In what democratic country does the exposure and risk of children's lives fall within the stands of freedom of expression? None.
Young children, whoever they are, are not subject to public political interest, but their unauthorized images and recordings in private circumstances cause danger of attacks, the removal of eventual chidnapimes, making their routines and locations public despite police evaluation that such is contrary to safety regulations.
Therefore, I will take every legal provision to protect my children from these so - called journalists, who have no intention of informing the public but risk the lives of children who have no guilt. These unauthorized recordings, often to the level of persecution, create not only physical but also psychological risks with long - term consequences for children.
The change in the location of the school has been made due to problems caused by the high risk level and due to the change in location we live in, while the “Ismail school Kemali” is already far from our home.
Finally, as President, I have no single competence in matters related to the educational system except to offer suggestions that I have constantly done. They fall exclusively at local and central level (comuns) competence. This does not mean that efforts and improvements have not been made, but the challenges are still too big and constant.
