According to municipal officials, this initiative aims to regulate chaos in parking lots and establish a more functional system for citizens.
Citizens will have three parking options, via SMS, Pristina Parking” app, and buying a physical ticket at locations located near parking lots.
Instead of blockades in cars, which were previously common practice, drivers will now be fined directly by the Capital Inspectorate and the Kosovo Police.
The tickets will be placed in the car and will contain the license plate number. They will range from 30 to 100 euros, while if paid within 15 days, drivers will have the opportunity to pay only half the sum.
