Prattipati: Concerned about government actions that have increased tensions

As Serbian language medium “reports KoSSev”, she has said her country is “concerned about the government's actions in office and movements that have increased tensions, especially when it comes to the treatment of Serbs in Kosovo”.
The incumbent Prime Minister Kurti's “government is responsible for the security and prosperity of all Kosovo residents and the Constitution and Kosovo laws guarantee the representation of Kosovo Serbs in Kosovo institutions. We expect the Kosovo government to ensure that Kosovo Serbs have equal opportunities and can participate fully in Kosovo's political and civic life”.
Prattipati also talked about the absence of an American ambassador in the country since Ambassador Jeffrey Havenier completed his mandate.
She said selecting an ambassador may take time.
The loss of an ambassador does not mean a lack of US commitment”, she says, citing the recent visit of a senior official by the Bureau for European and Eurasian Affairs, Brendan Hanrahan.
Prattipati has also reiterated that the United States has been proudly supporting Kosovo's path to becoming a sovereign, democratic, multiethnic and prosperous”.
On the other hand, Prattipati has said Kosovo Serbs are expected to take responsibility for “helped build a more stable and prosperous Kosovo”.
