Posting vote begins for voters outside Kosovo

This 25-day period, from today to October 11th, according to the CEC, will only apply to 43 thousand and 933 citizens who have managed to register successfully as voters outside Kosovo.
“04/2025 for registration and voting outside Kosovo, under which the CEC will ensure that Kosovo citizens registered for the vote by mail send through the ballot package mail, the CEC has prepared packages for each registered voter, which contains from two ballot papers, one for the Comune Mayor's elections and one for the Elections for the Municipal Assembly”, the report says.
So far, the CEC has announced that it has started through post office packages for registered voters in several states and postal services will be forwarded to registered voters at addresses given by them during the registration process.
Meanwhile, the CEC says it will continue to send the rest of the ballot packages.
The “Zarf, which will be sent to voters, contains: balloting; secret envelope; information guide on how to fill out ballots; and how to vote via mail; return envelope; and closing tape”.
“In voting outside Kosovo for local elections vote, the voter's task is to send the package with balloting to any of the CEC mailboxes. In most of these envelopes, the CEC has previously marked the mailbox address in the current state of registered voters. In cases where the address is not marked by the CEC, the voter must mark one of the CEC's postal mailbox addresses”, said further in the CEC's announcement.
