Kosovo police have seized a considerable quantity of weapons and ammunition during a raid conducted in South Mitrovica.
Investigators at the Police Station “Yugu”, following investigations into a case of domestic violence and suspicion of illegal possession of weapons, have raided the home of a suspect.
As a result, the police have found and seized:
Five long weapons,
a pistol with four mags,
447 rounds of different calibres.
The suspect, Kosovo's male, has been interviewed and, at the prosecutor's decision, has been assigned the 48-hour police detention measure.
Procedures for criminal acts “have been initiated against him in possession, control or unauthorized possession of weapons” and “Kanu in the family”.
