According to the family, the arrest of Spahiu and while in custody in Serbia, is a politically co-ordinated act and unjustly motivated.
They demand immediate release and citizens' support to make their voice heard.
Arbnor Spahiu was arrested on June 7th by Serbian authorities at the Horgos border, while traveling by bus with his family towards Kosovo.
He is facing charges against “serious suicide” over Banjsja's events in September 2023, where an armed group had attacked Kosovo police and where Sergeant Africa Bunnjak lost his life.
