Police were chasing them, dying in an accident in 18-year-old Albanian Italy.

The event took place about 5: 00 a.m., when two young Albanians -- residents of centers for unaccompanied foreign minors -- were spotted by police at the traffic station in Via Tolmino.

Doubts about the driver's youth and passenger's age led to the attempt to stop, but after a quick escape, the car was involved in a fatal accident at Via Murray.

According to preliminary investigations, the tip Audi went through several major streets in town before leaving the road on a bend at Via dei Lamponi, where he ran into a pillar of light and a road sign, dividing in two.

The 18-year-old passenger jumped out of the car and died on the scene, while the 19-year-old driver was sent to Maggior Hospital with middle injuries.

Emergency services, including paramedics, firefighters and local and state police forces, have been intervened at the scene, which have secured the area and are continuing investigations.

The 19-year-old driver may face charges of killing a car.

According to Bilogna Today, the incident was confirmed by the security camera of a local pharmacy and by the testimony of residents, who described a strong explosion and shouting.

The recorded video shows the car moving rapidly, followed by a brutal collision with the sidewalk and the pillar.

The scene is said to have been filmed by a passinger with a mobile phone who disappeared shortly after the event.

The 18-year-old passenger jumped out of the car and died immediately. The 19-year-old driver was sent to Maggior Hospital with moderate injuries.

Both are Albanians and residents of two different centres for unaccompanied foreign minors.

The scene included the 118s, local and state police, as well as firemen for the security of the area.

The 19-year-old could face arrest for the crime of killing by car.
