All known so far for the Podujevo Lapastica assassination

Police spokeswoman for the Pristina region, Flora Ahmeti, has indicated that in connection with the case they have received information about gun shooting around 7:30.

Police investigators in co-ordination with the state prosecutor have also launched an investigation into the enlightenment and clarification of all circumstances related to the case.

) Today at around 7:30 p.m., we got a weapons shootout in the village of Llapashtica, Podujevo. Immediately at the scene, the necessary police units have emerged, where they encountered a lifeless person. The death of the male victim has been ascertained by the medical team at the scene. Currently, police investigators, in co-ordination with the state prosecutor, have launched an investigation into enlightenment, clarification of all circumstances related to this case, Ahmeti has said.

According to local media, the victim is Bashkim Spahiu from the village of Glamnik, which reportedly was killed with 10 bullets in his car.
