The Peja Prosecutor's Action took place in 20 locations: Close seven jobs

The Constitutional Prosecutor in Pec, with self-insistance following the company that preliminary investigative actions in co-ordination with the Kosovo Police today have developed action in 20 locations, respectively, in Pec, Kline, Istog and Decani, under the assistance of the Labour Inspectorate, in the work of collective dwellings related to the safety of workers for health and their lives in [...]
This action, led by Peja's chief prosecutor, Mrs. Joy Vucetaj and under the support of nine state prosecutors, 60 police officials from the Regional Police Directorate in Pec have resulted in all irregularities in the safety of workers at the workplace and the lives of other citizens.
From this sweeping action, with authorisations of the state prosecutor, the responsible members of the contracting companies have been accompanied to police stations and, therefore, seven jobs have been closed, two in the town of Pec, 3 in Istog, one in Kline and one in Decani.
Also, in cases where there have been elements of criminal acts have been initiated cases for criminal work “Invention, damage or removal of protective equipment and risking security at work “from the Republic of Kosovo Penal Code”.
In addition, the relevant institutions for legal action and the drafting of reports concerning the permits of these items, illegal works, and other evental works for which these institutions must compile reports for finding out in these collective constructions to deposit at the Pajja Foundation Attorney.
It is noteworthy that the Constitutional Prosecutorship in Pec, during the six-month period of January-June 2025, has been accepted in all nineteen cases of criminal activity <x0).
