On the “Mesday” show in Tv1, Peci said that because of his commitment to the election campaign, he failed to follow the latest developments in detail.
I can't believe I can't follow all the developments that are happening because of the huge dynamic I have in municipal elections. I don't know all the developments that happened, I've seen some headlines, but until I give you comments, I wish I was well informed. I don't prefer to issue statements without being informed,” he declared.
Peci also stopped at the latest protest in The Hague, voicing concern that the form of organisation may have a opposite effect on the trial ongoing against former KLA leaders.
“E knows there has been a protest at The Hague. I personally have conviction, without wanting to prejudge or influence on any matter of the justice system, which we have established as a society, I think such an organization, such as protest where even that part of the siege at The Hague is trying to crack down on, causes me to be able to damage the process, in defeat of the Kosovo figures facing a trial process, Petci said.
Asked about the lack of official reaction by the Vetevendosje Movement over developments in The Hague, Peci said such a reaction should come from the Ministry of Justice.
The “is talking about an important response, but when there's reaction from us, they're saying we're affecting their process. Even such a reaction should be made by incumbent Justice Minister” he said.
At the end of the interview, Peci reaffirmed that he has not followed all the developments, but some images from the protest have left no positive impression.
I didn't follow it completely. What I've seen are some images of that protest I didn't like. The reason it is that it could negatively affect the judicial process,” it concluded. /Periscopi/
