The witness denied that prior to Rambouillet there was knowledge that Thaci may have been one of the founding members of the KLA, member of the General Staff, a member of the Political Directorate or its director.
The witness said there was no knowledge of the KLA's structure and organisation prior to Rambouillet. He also denied to have attended before this period at any meeting or meetings that included KLA members.
In addition, the witness stressed that prior to February 1999, he has never contacted and has not met any local KLA commander.
Likewise, Williams confirmed that prior to February 1999, he did not even know the names of KLA commanders.
Before Rambouillet, he said he did not attend any meetings where names were discussed as to who would be part of the Rambouillet delegation. /Periscope/
