The president of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has clarified yesterday's issue about reports that her daughters are protected by police.
She says her children are guilty of having political attitudes, and that her daughters hate being followed, writes IndexOnline.
But this, Osmani says she is obliged to do, especially after threats of violation and lives made by Serbs.
My daughters hate that escort, they've never been against it. They interfere with their normal laughter, their normal youth, and they hinder their learning process as other children. But that's not what I determined, it's the rules and the laws. Every 6 months, the police make the risk assessment, every 6 months the conclusion is the same, that the risk of my girls is the top” Osmani said.
She added that she would not want any parent to receive threats for himself and children.
I don't think there are any parents who would like to isolate children from play and life because of threats. Many of the threats come from Serbs, I'm mentioning two: there's come a Serb threat, where my picture and my two daughters are posted, with the inscription that death will come for us... There are threats of scathing, deportation and rape of my children” added to the president.
She denied claims that her daughters have received separate classes, claiming that they have received classes along with all other students, in the same class and at the same time as their peers.
She says the cameraman arrested yesterday was not made by the close protection of her children, claiming that unauthorised recording is prohibited by law./Periscopi/
