At this meeting, Osmani has reaffirmed the gratitude of the people of Kosovo for NATO's continued contribution to the country, stressing the importance of the Alliance's presence for security and peace in Kosovo.
It has also expressed the commitment of the Republic of Kosovo to membership in the North-Atlantic Alliance, considering this a strategic goal for the state.

In New York, I had the pleasure of meeting with NATO Assistant Secretary General Ambassador Boris Ruge.
During the meeting, I renewed the gratitude of the people of Kosovo for NATO's continued contribution to our country, as well as the devotion of the Republic of Kosovo for membership in the North-Atlantic Alliance.
