France's embassy in Kosovo has announced that the French national gendarmerie is participating in the dislocation of the EULEX Police Reserve (RFPU) “to support stability and confidence building, especially on the eve of local elections”.

It is proud to contribute, together with its European partners, to strengthen the security of all communities in Kosovo 
”, the embassy wrote.
“As part of EUROGENNDFOR, it is participating in the deployment of the EULEX Support Police Unit (RFPU) to support stability and confidence building, especially on the eve of local elections”, the report said.
This co-operation, the French Embassy said that “vows the commitment of France and its gendarmerie for peace and security in Kosovo and the Balkans”./Periscopi/
