There is no place in our country for such violence. It must end now. Jill and I are praying for the family of Charlie Kirk and his loved ones” he wrote in “X”.
Former President Obama also condemned the event, stressing that such violence does not serve democracy.
We don't know what motivated the person who shot and killed Charlie Kirk, but such disgusting violence has no place in our democracy. Michelle and I are going to pray for Charlie's family tonight, especially for his wife Erica and their two young children” said Obama.
