He has said that this attack was a brutal challenge to the fundamental values on which democratic society arises.
The morning of September 11, 2001, which claimed the lives of some 3,000 innocent people, shocked the whole world and remained in common memory as one of the worst acts of terrorism. This attack was not just a blow to the United States of America, but a brutal challenge to the very core values upon which democratic society, freedom, peace, and co-existence prevails. It was a violent attempt to violate the way of free and open life that democratic people share throughout the world. ”
Obadiah has said he bows respectfully before the memory of the victims.
Today, 24 years later, we respectfully obey before the memory of the victims and express complete solidarity with their families. This day reminds us that the battle against extremism and terrorism is a common responsibility that requires constant unity and determination. Kosovo remains steadfast in its friendship with the United States and continues to engage to protect and promote democratic values that unite us.”/Periscopi/
