Nurellar says that except for the rights category that has an improvement of plus two points, Kosovo has suffered a dramatic decline in rule of law, representation, participation.
“According to the latest report “The Global State of Democracy 2025” of IDEA Institute, Kosovo has seen visible decline in most of the democracy indicators during 2024. This is a bitter paradox, if we remember that Albin Kurti sold himself as a flagman of democracy, but in practice it is producing deterioration in almost every sphere of it.
Except for a slight improvement in the rights category (+2 points), Kosovo has suffered a dramatic decline in Law Rule (-18), representation (-6) and participation (-8). So, while Kurt is talking about democratic principles, in reality his government is eroded the foundation of democracy and is dipped Kosovo into institutional regrass”, Nurellar wrote.
