That is what Kiev's ambassador to Washington said Wednesday, showing that it is a process, as part of a critical effort to strengthen Ukraine's defence industry.
Officials hope to increase domestic arms production with Western aid, while the military is opposing the largest and most armed Russian forces in the fourth year of war.
Olha Stefanisyna said a Ukrainian delegation will visit the US on September 30th, after receiving a positive “syal” from President Donald Trump, who met with Ukrainian leader Volody Zelensky in New York on Tuesday.
There was a very vivid reaction from the American president. He spent several minutes admiring innovation (and) the capabilities of Ukraine”, she said on Ukrainian television.
The two leaders had previously discussed the plans of a joint production agreement involving fears, which Zelensky said have received political support from Trump.
Trump also voiced new support Tuesday for Kiev's war efforts, suggesting he must continue to fight to regain more of his territory.
