Navajo's wife says he died of poisoning

He was in a prison in the Arctic when he died.
Russian President Vladimir Putin's long-term critic, Vladimir Putin, died under mysterious circumstances while serving a 19-year prison sentence on a series of charges seen as retaliation because of his opposition.
Navalny had staged protests across Russia against the Kremlin and had discovered the benefits Putin's narrow circle had.
His allies said he was killed in prison and Moscow never explained the cause of his death, but he just said he was sick while walking in the prison yard on February 16, 2024.
Before being buried, his wife, Yulia Navalnaya, said his allies “managed to secure and safely transfer Alexei's biological samples” abroad.
“Labs in two countries came to the conclusion that Alexei was killed. Specifically: poisoned”, she said via a video message published on social networks.
She did not give details about what kind of samples were taken or about the results of tests, but called on the labs to independently publish their results and specify what kind of poison they believe has been used.
Navalnaya also published photographs that, as they claimed, were of the prison cell after his body left. Photographs of vomiting on the floor appeared as Navajo claimed that the evidence of prison officials indicated that there had been concessions on the floor.
Alexei Navajo in 2020 had been poisoned with nervous agent Novick while campaigning in Siberia and was sent to Germany, where he received medical treatment for several months.
Upon returning to Russia in January 2011, he was convicted of a series of charges, including “remism”.
From prison, he continued his work by opposing Putin and spoke out against the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Russian authorities said he died suddenly after being sick while walking outside the prison courtyard.
After the death of Navalny, officials refused for days to hand over the body to their families, prompting doubts among his supporters.
Navalnaya has insisted that her husband has been killed on the basis of Putin's orders, an accusation that he repeated even on September 17th.
“Vladimir Putin is guilty of killing my husband, Alexei Navalny”, she said.
After Navalnaya's statement, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said he was unaware of these charges. The Kremlin has repeatedly denied accusations that the Navajo has been killed.
Russia has intensified the crackdown on Navajo allies after his death, adding Navajo to the list of “terrorists and extremists” and condemning Putin's opponent's attorneys and journalists who had prosecuted cases against Alexei Navallit.
Most of his family and key allies live outside Russia.
The Kremlin has reinforced its crackdown on instability separately after the start of the invasion of neighbouring Ukraine, and in Russia, objections to war and Putin are rare. / REL/ Periscopi/
