Chinese citizens who could work at NASA only as contractors or students who contributed to research learned on September 5th that they had lost all access to NASA systems and facilities, Bloomberg news reported, citing sources.
Nasa later confirmed this, saying that Chinese citizens would be limited to using “environments, materials and networks” of the agency to ensure the safety of our work, the foreign media writes, sends out Telegrafi.
China's accelerated spatial programme has alarmed the US and increased the race between the two largest economies.
Chinese astronauts are already excluded from the International Space Station (ISS) because Washington has stopped it NASA share its data with China.
And NASA's recent restrictions only increase the decline in scientific co-operation between the two sides due to national security concerns.
