The Constitutional Court in Pristina, the Special Department has approved the request of the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo, assigning the detention measure to 30 days long (each separate) of the suspects: Astrit Kazmi, Silver Qupewa, Arben Qupewe, Albin Qupewa, Fatmir Mujaj, Visar Muriqi and Ekrem Bajrami, under suspicion that they committed criminal acts “organised crime” regarding criminal work “Blerja, ownership, distribution and the authorised sale of narcotics”, and “Money laundering”.
During the day, it was reported on the contents of the Prosecution's request for the detention assignment, showing how transportation was conducted, camping, and selling narcotics.
The Court's announcement reportedly approved P's request. The SRK, and after holding the hearing, estimated that assigning the detention measure to this criminal case is adequate.
“... Since the same are suspected of serious criminal acts, if the defendants are released, can avoid criminal procedure, and may be impervious to justice organs, the same can eliminate, conceal, forge criminal acts, forge criminal acts, or hinder the normal course of criminal procedure, and influence other persons who may eventually be involved in these” actions, the report says.
