Within six months 18 police officials arrested and 48 suspended

48 police officials have been suspended within 6 months of this year. According to statistics provided by the Kosovo Police Inspectorate, 18 police officials for various criminal acts have been arrested within this period and a police official has been transferred.

However, this institution has offered no data on how many of those suspended during this time have returned to their jobs. Not even in the Kosovo Police.

Days ago at the workplace, two police officials, suspended at IPK's recommendation, also returned as they had allegedly failed to implement the order to arrest the top suspect in the case of Sergeant Muhammad Lika's murder.

Lieutenant Yaser Jaha's lawyer, says that after the IPK investigation, the same has resulted in innocence as he says they are in preparation for an image-damaged indictment.

On the other hand, former IPK chief Valdet Hoxha says that despite the police officials' suspension in the interest of making the truth clear, this affects lowering the image even for the police institution itself.
