A 7.8-magnified earthquake has struck in Russia's far east, in the Kamchatka region, the agency “reportedReuters”.
At first, warnings were issued about tsunamis, but later canceled, time broadcasts.net.
The quake has struck at a depth of 10 kilometers.
The US Geological Service said the quake was 7.8, but from the Russian Emergency Ministry it was said to be 7.2.
