Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Memli Krasniqi last night attended the grand rally in Drenas, where the election campaign was officially opened and strong support was given to PDK's candidate for mayor of this municipality, Petrit Hajdari.

In an enthusiastic and energy-filled atmosphere, Krasniqi stressed that October 12th elections will be a clear victory for PDK and Petrit Hajdari.

“Drenas, on October 12th there is no runoff. There's only victory. Binding. Great. Incontinuous. The PDK is number 191. The PDK is Petrit Hajdari. Because there is only one Democratic Party of Kosovo -- Hashim Thaci's party -- of Kadri Veselin and Jakup Krasniqi. Petrit Hajdari's party, all of you. Drenas' Party, Kosovo's Drenica. It's the freedom party. The Party of Big Results. The Party of Everlasting Victorys in Drenas. And on October 12th, you get it done because we have other things to run. In Drenas, the runoff will be permanently forgotten”, Krasniqi said.

He praised Petrit Hajdari's candidacy, calling it the right man to lead Drenas with vision and integrity.

“Today, the Democratic Party of Kosovo comes before you with a tried man, with a son of yours who have always strongly supported Petit Hajdari. Petiri has grown up in the PDK Bay. He's grown up on the oath of this party and with your support in every race. He lived with your troubles, challenges and dreams. I've known Petrit personally for more than 20 years, since we were together activists of democratic youth”, the chairman of the survey stressed. PDK.

The gathering in Drenas marked a powerful start of the campaign, confirming the great support PDK and its candidate, Petrit Hajdari, enjoy in this municipality.

Following the PDK chairman, the citizens also spoke to the presidential candidate of the Drenas municipality, Petrit Hajdari, who presented his vision and concrete pledges for the next mandate.

I never betray this city. I don't bargain with power. I don't use it The PDK as a cover for personal interests. I decide myself, and I only decide with you”, Hajdari said.

He further said he comes before the citizens of Drenas with a new alternative, with a more human vision of Drenas, a vision based on service, not rule.

A vision without personal protagonism, no arrogance, no individual cult, no boasting and self- denial. Drenas does not need a mayor who closes the door, but for a head who opens it for every citizen, for every family, for any entrepreneur who seeks to open new jobs”, Hajdari said.

He recalled that his programme was built through direct meetings with citizens. Announcing the main pledges for his mandate, he said:

In the first year of governance, the municipal tax will be reduced by 50%. The agriculture budget will double. It will launch the pilot project for day-to-day learning, and transport will be provided for students travelling over 3km. New sports areas will be built, and students' safety regulations will be drafted. There will be a modern digital platform, where citizens over the phone will report real-time problems, and the municipality will come to the citizen, not the citizen at the municipality. This is the standard that Drenasi” deserves, Hajdari said.. /Periscopi/
