The gathering of the General Council of the Vetevendosje Movement has begun. LVV General Council Chief Arberie Nagavci opened the meeting thanks to the participation, among other things, the incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Chief Parliamentary Dimal Basha.
Nagavci mentioned they would propose Albin Kurti for prime minister, though he cited the Constitutional Court's decision, which to promise imposed temporary measures, preventing MPs from taking any action or developing any procedure for forming the new government by September 30th.
“If we are at a moment when the Parliament after the elections has already elected the chairman and four vice-presidents, with the Constitutional Court's decision of 120 MPs being suspended due to the Serbian List's complaint. However, we at this particular and important meeting will continue with our proposal for prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, given the great trust citizens have given to Movement and Prime Minister Kurti, and will also discuss other political topics”, Nagavci said./Periscopi/
