Lutfi Haziri: The American government has lost patience in the face of Kurt's behaviour, his manipulative statements

The incumbent Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, has talked for the first time today about the US decision to suspend the planned Strategic Dialogue in the government meeting today before his ministers.

Kurti accused “subpossors” of overreacting this development negatively, while saying the planning for dialogue has been suspended.

We wanted to clarify for our citizens that this is about suspending planning for Strategic Dialogue, not Strategic Dialogue as a start-up process, not even regular communication that we have. We haven't broken up with America, but we've got a few differences.

“Although the opposition is overreacting to negative light any events in our government reports with the American government, I don't want to minimize recent decisions. I assure citizens that our government deals seriously with the statements and attitudes of the US Embassy”.

Kurti claimed that his government's relations with the American government are good, but that the gap consists of some “operational and tactical issue”.
